Software Architect/Engineer for the Academy of Applied Science

I was in charge of designing and implementing a large scale communications package which the Academy of Applied Science planned to deploy to several hundred high schools. This communications package was a pure Java application which seamlessly integrated diverse communications protocols such as email (SMTP), newsgroups (NNTP), irc, talk, and zephyr (instant messaging) among others. I played a large role in the conceptual design of this communications package and I personally wrote over 95% of the code that had gone into the production of the Global School District by the end of my full time involvement.
