The World's First Java^(TM) Age Detector

My age detector takes the personal information that you entered into your browser and compares it against a government database. It can be used to determine whether or not you are above a required age and grant you access to websites that contain "mature" material only if you are above the appropriate age. Websites all over the world are using my age detector and I encourage you to do the same since it is free. The age detector applet was written by me (Tim Macinta) and is copyright 1996 - 2024.

Email I Have Received Concerning My Age Detector

I have received quite a bit of email about my age detector a lot of which has been very entertaining. There are some very confused people out there who just don't get it and their comments are even more entertaining than the actual age detector at times. Below is my archive of some of the email which I have received concerning my age detector. I will try to update this periodically as I get more email, so if you enjoy reading the emails please sign up to be automatically notified when this page changes (enter your email address to the right).

The Original Email Archive - This is what started it all. You'll find emails here stretching back to 1996. The response to this edition has been overwhelmingly positive.
July 26, 2000 - This second edition begins an ancient tradition of adding new mail to new editions. I had been adding new email to the original archive, but I'm hoping that by starting a new edition each time I add new email it will be much easier for you to check back in and read the latest email.
August 7, 2000 - Wow, I put out this third edition a lot faster than I was expecting. Don't get too used to this frantic update pace - I plan on getting lazy again real soon now.
